１０６７：ＷＡＳＨとの連携はあるか？

この国では０４年ぐらいからＵＮＩＣＥＦ支援でＷＡＳＨプログラムが実施されている。

しかし、その実態は中々得にくい。ＵＮＩＣＥＦが開示したがらない。

先日ドナー連絡会議で、村落給水における水と衛生の問題を提議したら、新任のイギリス人ＷＡＳＨ担当からドナーに対して非公式で会議を開きたいとメールが届いた。

深い井戸の水質汚染についてである。

なるほど、乗ってきたかな？どうもＵＮＩＣＥＦはＮＧＯみたいで政府の方針に反する傾向があり、困ったものだという印象があった。

ウガンダ人からイギリス人に担当が変わったので少しはまともな話ができるかなと少し期待はしている。しかし、１００％信用していないので、会議ではＵＮＩＣＥＦがこれまでやってきたＷＡＳＨの概要、進捗などを説明するように釘を刺した。
