７６１：CAP-NETからのニュース（中央アジア）

2003年ごろ、まだIWRMという手法が現れたころ、良くIWRMの情報を得たものである。

久々、中央アジアからのニュースが入った。何年か前に時期尚早と判断され国家IWRM計画が止まっていた。タジクとキルギスの連携を目指している。

下記にニュースを転記する。また進捗をフォローすることにする。

A regional UNDP programme in Central Asia, “Promoting IWRM and Fostering Transboundary Dialogue” is now fully underway. The activities in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are fostering the development and implementation of IWRM and Water Efficiency Strategies at national and basin level combined with concrete interventions such as the improvement of rural drinking water supply and small hydropower solutions, for demonstration purposes. The component in the Ili-Balkhash Basin mainly focuses on enhancing transboundary cooperation between Kazakhstan and China on management of this shared water system. At the regional level the programme is providing a platform for regional dialogue and the development of joint capacity building activities. One upcoming activity is a training course on Conflict Resolution planned together with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. The training will make use of Cap-Net training materials.
