２３２２：TWDBって知ってますか？

TWDBのことはかなり前に書いた。

 

テキサス州水開発委員会のこと。テキサス州の水行政を管轄する機関だ。８０年代から９０年代にかけて、僕もこのTWDBの最適水配分計画手法を研究した。

 

今は、水管理と環境問題が主たるテーマだね。海水淡水化事業もやってたかな。

 

定期的にメルマガが送られてくる。下記が最新のもの。米語的な英語だね。ぼくらコンサルでも学ぶべき例題だ。

TWDB Board to be briefed on environmental review process improvements and other topics at June 5 meeting

 

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) will hold a Board meeting to be briefed on the streamlined environmental review process for customers seeking state financial assistance through the TWDB. The Board will also continue discussions on the guidance to the Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company for the State Water Implementation Fund for Texas (SWIFT).

 

The meeting will be held in Austin at the Stephen F. Austin Building, 1700 North Congress Avenue, Room 170, on June 5, 2014, at 9:30 a.m.  

 

In addition, the Board will also receive an update on the SWIFT and will be briefed on various other topics affecting the TWDB's financial programs.

 

The public and interested stakeholders are encouraged to attend and provide public comment.
